What should a denture price include beyond the teeth?

A denture estimate should say whether it covers an upper arch, a lower arch, or both, and whether the appliance is immediate, conventional, partial, or implant-retained. Ask separately about extractions, adjustments, relines, and replacement during healing. The phrase “complete set” needs a clear definition before you compare prices.

A reline changes the fitting surface of a denture to better match the supporting tissues. It is different from making a new set of teeth. If an existing denture has become loose, the dentist should assess whether its condition allows adjustment or whether replacement is more appropriate. Continuing discomfort deserves examination rather than an assumption that a new adhesive will solve it.

Ask how the proposed treatment will proceed from records and fitting to delivery and follow-up. If teeth will be removed, confirm the temporary arrangements and which changes are anticipated as the mouth heals. A denture available immediately after extraction serves a different stage from one made for healed tissues. Those distinctions help explain why apparently similar offers may include different work.
